Visual Storytelling

Jessica, our resident graphic facilitator, brings a unique perspective to the conversation. Gifted in deep listening, she captures emotion and challenging information through visual storytelling. Illustration is the inclusion of a universal language that can build knowledge of a topic and/or a better understanding of each other.

We have seen how a visual translation invites participants to become more present with what is being shared during complex conversations and to truly feel they’ve been seen and heard.

Graphic Recording

Real-time translation of conversations or presentations into text and visuals, capturing key ideas through a combination of words and imagery. Graphic recorders actively listen, synthesize information, and document discussions in a way that enhances understanding and engagement. Using large-format paper, foam boards, or digital tools like iPads® and tablets, Jessica creates dynamic visual representations that bring conversations to life.
Graphic Facilitation:

Combines group facilitation and graphic recording. As a graphic facilitator, Jessica co-leads groups toward a goal, usually using visual aids like templates, flip charts, posters, visual tools or visual metaphors to support the process.
Using her expertise to transform complex ideas into accessible, visually compelling narratives with real-time visual documentation, she helps individuals and organizations see their discussions in new ways, fostering clarity, connection, and deeper engagement.
Engagement Tools

Zines, illustrations, interactive tools and post-production take-aways make information more accessible by using metaphors, clear language, and storytelling. These tools engage diverse audiences and teams, breaking down complex topics for different learning styles, language abilities, and backgrounds.
